Someone is porting Quake 3 Arena in full VR!
By: HoriZon

GUNNM VR has ported Quake 3 Arena to VR its not out yet but its on way so hopefully sometime in the next few months we will be able to play full multiplayer on all the vanilla maps of Quake 3 Deathmatch and Capture the Flag and once that's out people will be able to port extra maps and mods to it - would love Rocket Arena 3 in VR! its based on the Android port.

Love all these ports for the Oculus Quest been playing Doom 3 (single player only), Quake 2 (single player only), Quake 1 with full multiplayer, RTCW (single player only), Half-Life 1 all these have been modded to have full 3D weapons and better graphics using mod packs and texture updates.

You can even play ZDOOM with many '.wads' working such as Doom 1 and 2 as well as Doom 64 and many more with full VR weapons and loads of gore via various mods blood drips from the ceiling LOL you wouldn't think it would work but it just does !

Doom 3 modded for VR works with Oculus Quest
By: HoriZon

The somewhat classic but forgotten about Doom 3 is one hell of a blast in VR on the Oculus Quest with Doom3Quest the game is only £3.99 (at the time of writing) on Steam and well worth it. You will need SideQuest to install it to the headset minds.

It stands up very well, they have even made it so each hand works as it should in VR you can look at the gun from all angles and the other hand has the flash light or you can strap it to the gun or head/body. Play the whole games in VR, oh I'm going to hell and back!

Top f***ing marks people!

/I'm still shocked that this game that used to need a beefy PC back in the day now runs off a mobile device

LOW-Fi is looking all kinds of Bladerunner!
By: HoriZon

LOW-Fi is a next generation virtual reality simulation in which you as the player patrol the streets (and the skies above them) solving mysteries, fighting crime, or giving in to corruption. The choice is yours. It's reached it's money on Kickstarter and looks damn fine temped to get it but wanna hold off for the full finished game.

Think Bladeunner in full VR.... awesome!!!

Another long video from Eurogamer.

[23 December 2020] Apparently the dev team behind is a bit flaky so we may never see it fully finished as it is now its just a place to visit nothing happens really and no voice acting just text which takes you out of the experience, though you can watch the full version of the classic Night of the Living Dead at the cinema!

Back 4 Blood is on Baby!
By: HoriZon

Turtle Rock Studios, the developer of Left 4 Dead, has revealed a first proper glimpse of its new game. It's called Back 4 Blood and it looks a lot like Left 4 Dead.

Over the course of a trailer and a bit of real game footage we are introduced to a world in which some sort of horrible worm has turned people into zombies. Anyway, Back 4 Blood looks like Turtle Rock is sticking to the formula - a team of wise-cracking survivors up against hordes of zombies. Guns and baseballs bats and grenades. Safe houses and graffiti all over the place.

There has been talk of this for years but it’s now on the way seven short fucking months away.

More L4D? Hell yeah...
