Nintendo confirms new console, reveal at E3
By: HoriZon

Following numerous rumours which started popping up last week, Nintendo has today formally confirmed that it is indeed working on a new home console with the goal to launch sometime in 2012.

The machine will be "a system to succeed Wii," according to a short IR doc released today, and will be present in playable form at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo, held June 7-9 in Los Angeles. Expect specs then, too.

That's it for now though; the company is not divulging any details just yet. You can catch the latest rumors on the device, believed to be codenamed Project Cafe.
