Fortnite Battle Royale Gamble Pays Off Big for Epic
By: HoriZon

Fortnite has struck gold with this Battle Royale stuff. The multiplayer mode was introduced just a couple of weeks ago, and it's free to download and play on PS4, XB1, PC and Mac. It takes more than a few cues from the stupidly popular PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, but with Microsoft calling console exclusivity on that one, Fortnite developer Epic Games has been quick to take advantage - and boy has the gamble paid off.

The studio reports that Battle Royale has hit a very impressive ten million players. It's safe to say that it's been a success, and I must say its a lot of fun and its FREE! well for now at least
